Offering an exciting opportunity to embark on an extraordinary journey during this summer, Sharjah’s Al Noor Island has launched its Summer Program, with an array of specially designed activities that seamlessly blend art, nature, education, and entertainment.
Running every Sunday during the summer season, the program promises to be a magical experience through five distinct workshops spread across various zones on the island. Guests will have the unique opportunity to bask in the beauty of lush greenery, explore the mesmerizing butterfly house wonders, and participate in captivating workshops sure to leave a lasting impression.
Zone 1 – A Cupcake Canvas of Imagination
Explore the boundless creativity within Zone 1, where the Noor Cafe will host a delightful cupcake decoration workshop. With signature butterfly designs and more, participants will be provided with freshly baked cupcakes and all the necessary materials to create their edible masterpieces. Complementary refreshments will also be offered during the session.
Zone 2 – Art and Craft
In Zone 2, participants will embark on an artistic adventure with art and craft workshops. Aspiring little artists can craft their own artwork and choose a coloring sheet to take home. In another workshop here, participants will also have the opportunity to create their own caterpillar and butterfly, adding a touch of magic to their artistic journey.
Zone 3 – Nurturing Nature’s Canvas
Two workshops await eager participants in zone 3; Art in Nature and Nurture Nature. In Art in Nature, budding artists will receive easels, painting materials, and a Landscape Tutorial Sample to unleash their creativity on canvas. Meanwhile, the Nurture Nature workshop will enlighten participants on the art of creating with plants, providing insights into gardening techniques, potting skills, and plant care. The session will culminate in a Q&A session, offering valuable tips for maintaining a beautiful garden. Participants will also receive a giveaway to cherish and take home.
In addition to the engaging workshops, attendees of the Al Noor Island Summer Program will have full access to all the island’s attractions.
The two-hour program will run from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the guests will have the flexibility to choose a Sunday of their preference while booking. Tickets are priced at AED 120 per person, including access to all workshops, activities, materials, and giveaways.

Al Noor Island, developed and operated by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is located on Khalid Lagoon. The destination’s working hours are from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight on weekends. The Butterfly House is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
